The Development
Gilder's Yard is a build-to-rent development of 157 apartments, high-quality amenities, and 10,000K SF of commercial.
Sitting on the site of a former jewellery factory, Gilder's Yard is made up of a mixture of contemporary and restored historical assets, incorporating different architectures. The site included the renovation of a three-storey Grade II* listed building, alongside three new builds, each with their own architectural style.
Taking inspiration from the term gliding, a decorative technique used to apply fine gold leaf or powder to solid surfaces, Gilder's Yard pays homage to the former site of J Ashford & Sons with the original 1912-built factory preserved and a centrepiece of the project.
A combination of one and two bedroom apartments are provided, in addition to a range of high-quality amenities available, including a residents lounge, gym, co-working space, and an outdoor courtyard garden.
Secure car parking and a bicycle storage unit are provided, with residents also benefitting from superfast high-speed WIFI and a dedicated onsite Resident Services Team.
